Our Story

How it all started...

Daniel and Lori Gonzalez have been married since 2000 and have two sons, Daniel James and Gabriel.  Daniel was called to the ministry as a young man in Cuba.  Lori felt called to missions as a teen in Kentucky.   Lori moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1988 and soon became a praise and worship leader while also continuing her career as an educator. Daniel came to the USA in 1993 with dreams of going to a Bible School and starting a ministry.  Daniel and Lori's paths crossed in 1997  (and that's another story) but they knew that God had brought them together for a purpose. They moved to Kentucky in 2004.  God placed a call in their hearts to begin a Word of Faith Church for the Hispanic community in Sebree, KY.  In 2007, Daniel and Lori took a sabbatical to attend Victory World Missions Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  This time of training helped to enlarge their vision and prepared them to return to Sebree in 2009 and move forward with the church and later Harvest Bible College,  a church in El Salvador and Compassion Food Pantry. What began as two separate callings has become one shared mission - to raise up believers, serve the hurting, and build God's Kingdom wherever He leads.

Expanding the vision...

Our goal is to open Compassion Food Pantry this year.  We want to be blessing to our community.  Soon we will finish our building project and have a better place for more food storage in order to meet more needs in our community.

Where we are headed...

We know that God has placed our ministry in Sebree for a purpose.  To reach the lost.  We want to finish our new building this year so that we can open our food pantry, have a place for fellowship, and outdoor events.
